Commis II Position Summary: The Primary purpose of this position is to ensure the kitchen is clean, well maintained and organized at all times. The kitchen steward will maintain a proper level of clean inventory with a high standard of cleanliness according to the company code.
- Ensure all equipment is clean and in good working order;
Check all level of cleaning inventory
Set up stations
Assist chefs as necessary;
Dispose of waste;
- Ensure all equipment and utensils are clean according to sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Record all breakage.
- To be fully aware and adhere to sickness and accident report procedures.
- To comply with all safety requirements relating to chemicals and cleaning of equipment used in the kitchen.
- To attend all meeting and training sessions in which you are required.
To comply with any reasonable request from your superiors
- Able to work on weekends and public holiday.
- Essential 3-4 years experience.
- Full and part time positions available
